Long Ago In A Halloween Far, Far Away

Confession...we've been a bit obsessed over Star Wars lately at our house. So, when Amy (I'm-So-Busy-So-Why-Not-Do-Something-Else) decided to MAKE all the Halloween costumes, the genre selection was a no-brainer. We were thrilled with the outcome. Hannah just nailed the 1977 Princess Leia, Ella was a perfect Jawa (complete with sound effects), and Olivia is a natural R2-D2. Sawyer stole the show as Jedi Master Yoda, and had his light saber in a death grip much of the night. I was going for the Tatooine (Part IV) Ben Kenobi (sans beard of course). The Imperial stormseamstress dressed all of us galactic fiends, but declined to disguise herself, preferring just to have us all call her - "The Force". Our "Stars Wars Cookbook" and various coloring books we found helped us with the costume details, and gave us yet another opportunity to see the original trilogy. It was a perfect family Halloween get-up.
