Our church Cub Scout pack opened up the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby race this year to all who wished to participate. The kids were enthused about making their little race cars, and we had a good time carving, sanding, and painting. While no one from our clan actually medalled in the races (the actual Cub Scouts dominated the awards podium!), it was a lot of fun just racing the cars. I got to help the Bishop make the race track, that was a really interesting project!
